"BLACK"

Black is actually a beautiful color because contrary to most beliefs it is not void of other colors, it is actually a mixture of all colors. It is the color most commonly depicting detail.

Black personalities want every thing done in black and white so that every detail stands out clearly. They are very focused in their actions, almost to the point of obsession. People who are good at following written instructions probably like this color.

If a job needs getting done, and by the book, these are the people to do it.

These personalities are leaders to though and can work within a loose structure. Just tell them what needs to be done and they will get it done. Once unleashed, they are able to quickly evaluate, determine a course of action, and solve problems that others may hesitate to tackle.

When put to good use it is hard to beat them for evaluating processes and finding unique solutions. Tenacious in their actions, they are sometimes thought of as having "bulldog" like personalities as they seldom give up on a course of action once they are sure it is right. Black personalities are always looking for the edge or the better, faster, easier way to accomplish the task.

This color is one of emotional hiding. When one wears black, they are generally giving an indication of - stay away. They use the color as a kind of shield knowing that others tend to shy away from the stark color, which gives them a kind of buffer to personal contact.

Protection of their emotions is one reason they use this color. The stony personality is quite effective with this color. Wanting to be part of the world around them, they want no one to tug at or know their sensitivity.

Black is a relief color for most people, it takes the glare out of life. It gives them comfort and even, in some cases, a place to retreat to, allowing them to hide from the sometimes unjust world.
